SOME CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Assignments completed in over 100 cities and communities.

Appraisal of numerous multi-million dollar residences and estates.

In 1994 I appraised the former Beverly Hills home of Elvis Presley which he built in 1958 when he began making Hollywood movies. The current owners purchased it from Presley’s estate in 1978; I was met by "the butler" who showed me around the property and told me some tales about the home when Elvis lived there.

In 1998 I appraised an historical Pasadena home built by a railroad tycoon in 1915. It contained over 15,000 square feet of living area on four levels, and at the time was the feature home for the Pasadena Showcase of Homes, raising money for the Pasadena Junior Philharmonic and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The Showcase billed this as the largest home and garden fundraiser in the country; admission tickets were $20 apiece and available through Ticketron, and for a month there was a steady stream of visitors.

I assisted in the appraisal capacity of a large real estate criminal fraud investigation by the FBI.

Articles published in the newsletters of the Southern California and the Los Angeles chapters of the Appraisal Institute.

Ongoing pro bono work for Nevada County Habitat for Humanity projects.

In 2006 I served on the Admissions Committee for the Sacramento-Sierra chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

In 2001 I served on the Board of Directors of the Central Coast Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

In 1998 I served on the Board of Directors of the Ventura Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.

In 1997 I served on the Admission Committee of the Ventura Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.
